Dallas Residents Eligible for FEMA Assistance

A new Disaster Recovery Center is opening at the Dallas College Mountain View Campus. The details are as follows:
- Location: Dallas College Mountain View Campus, 4849 W. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211
- Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily beginning Saturday, July 13.
The Disaster Recovery Site at West Dallas Multipurpose Center remains open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- At these sites, residents can meet with representatives from FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) to discuss available disaster recovery resources, apply for assistance, or follow up on open cases.
As a reminder, residents may apply for disaster assistance multiple ways:
- Go online to https://www.disasterassistance.gov/
- Download the FEMA App for mobile devices.
- Call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Help is available in most languages.
- Visit any Disaster Recovery Center
Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams continue to work in neighborhoods throughout the City of Dallas to assist residents that may be unable to access one of the above application options.
The deadline to apply for individual assistance is August 15th.
