Looking for your next opportunity? City of Dallas to present free Job and Resource Fair April 18 & 20
Hundreds of local employers will be on hand to help residents sharpen their job interview skills and find their next work opportunity at a free two-day job and resource fair April 18 and 20.
Both events will be held at the Harry Stone Recreation Center, 2403 Millmar Drive:
- Monday April 18: Resume and Interview Workshop, 10 a.m. to noon. The workshop will provide access to Human Resources managers and career placement professionals who will review resumes and set up practice interviews.
- Wednesday April 20: Job and Resource Fair, 10 a.m. to noon, featuring more than 100 employers and resources and onsite interviews.
“The Opportunity Works Job and Resources Fair will help connect people who need a job with companies and organizations that are hiring right now,” said City of Dallas Community Prosecutor Amanda Chase. “We will present a wide range of opportunities for all levels of experience, full-time and part-time, from hourly warehouse positions to teaching jobs requiring advanced degrees.”
Deadline for employers to register for the event is April 11.
